Analyzer JCL Builder ISPF Application

The Analyzer JCL Builder ISPF Application lets you build and modify JCL and Analyzer control statements and include in them the parameters that you need.

ISPF panels display and accept control statement selections and parameter selections. With this application, you can perform the following operations:

  • specify parameters that implement installation-dependent variables used by some generated JCL statements.
  • define model JCL and Analyzer control statement sets that can be included in new JCL members.
  • generate new JCL members from model JCL, and include predefined statement sets or new statements.
  • define, remove, or revise Analyzer control statements via the JCL Builder dialog.
  • submit the JCL for execution.
  • save the generated JCL for future use.
