CFACT

The CFACT control statement requests the Coupling Facility Activity Report.

CFACT
[IGNORE=INACTIVE]
Best Practice

To collect synchronous data from all systems to which the coupling facility is connected, BMC Software recommends that you use the SYNCH=SMF parameter of the Extractor REPORT control statement.

Note

You must also specify the SYSPLEX control statement with RPTS=COMBINED to produce the Coupling Facility Activity Report.

Parameters

The parameter for the CFACT control statement is as follows:

IGNORE=

provides the option to suppress the printing of coupling facilities that have zero activity during the reporting interval

When IGNORE=INACTIVE is defined, coupling facilities that have no activity during the reporting interval are omitted from the report.

Example

The following example illustrates the use of the CFACT control statement.

SYSPLEX SUBPLEX=*,TYPE=SYSID,RPTS=COMBINED
CFACT IGNORE=INACTIVE

One Coupling Facility Activity Report is produced for each coupling facility that was active.
