MV_MAINVIEW class slot descriptions

The MV_MAINVIEW class is a subclass of EVENT root class and contains slots that are common to all BMC II for z/OS events.

mv_sysplex

Name of SYSPLEX where the event originated

mv_system

Name of system where the event originated

mv_ao_name

System that sent the event

mv_mve_host

String

Location of the host of the MAINVIEW Explorer server

mv_mve_port

Integer

Location of the port of MAINVIEW Explorer server

mv_cijob

String

Name of the originating address space of the ALERT

The event type and values are as follows:

  • MSG: address space issuing WTO/R message
  • ALARM: identification of the address space causing the Alarm (for example, IMFTHTGT)
  • EXT: address space where Rule fires (for example, the address space putting records to Subsystem dataset)
