Scheduling the script to run daily

To schedule the CDB Automator script to run daily, perform the following actions:

  1. From the CDB Automator Run menu, select Schedule.

  2. In the Schedule Script to Run Later dialog box, specify when you want the script to run.
    Schedule the script to run after UIE creates the .vis files and at least 15 minutes before the BMC Helix Continuous Optimization for Mainframes Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) engine is scheduled to run. For more information, see Configuring-BMC-Helix-Continuous-Optimization-for-Mainframes-ETL.

    Warning

    Important

    • Because the scheduled task needs to run as a specific user, you might have to update the UserName and Password fields with proper credentials.
    • If you need to make any modifications after you schedule the script, use the Microsoft Windows Task Scheduler.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
