To create an alarm definition

  1. Open the view on which you want to create an alarm definition.
  2. Depending on the type of view, take one of the following actions:
    • On a tabular and hybrid view, clickimage2022-8-26_18-11-12.pngnext to any column name and select Create alarm.

  3. Enter the details in in the dialog boxes in the wizard. Default values are specified for each dialog box.
To accept the default values, click Next on each dialog box and then Save the new alarm definition. We recommend specifying a unique name for the new alarm definition.

For more information about each dialog box, see the following topics:

  4. When you have finished creating the alarm definition, the AMD view is displayed with the new alarm definition listed. On the AMD view you can use line commands to take actions on the alarm definitions.
