Uninstalling analytics components

To uninstall BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore

1. To uninstall BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore, navigate to the installation directory.

2. Run ./UninstallOpsAnalyticsDatastore.
   The uninstallation process starts. The following message is displayed before the component is uninstalled:

   Uninstall OpsAnalyticsDatastore
   -------------------------------
   
   About to uninstall...
   
   OpsAnalyticsDatastore
   
   This will remove Ops Analytics Datastore.
   
   You may cancel this uninstallation by typing 'quit'.

   To cancel the uninstallation, enter quit.
   
   

3. Press Enter to continue with uninstalling. 
   After the component is uninstalled, the following message is displayed:

   Uninstall Complete
   ------------------
   
   All items were successfully uninstalled.
   
   SHUTDOWN REQUESTED
   (X) committing registry
   
   REGISTRY ALREADY STORED!
   
   (X) shutting down service manager
   (X) cleaning up temporary directories

   After uninstallation, the installation directory includes the InstallAnywhere log file OpsAnalyticsDatastore_installer/InstallerLogs/.

To uninstall BMC AMI Ops Analytics Agent

1. To uninstall BMC AMI Ops Analytics Agent, navigate to installation directory.

2. Run ./UninstallOpsAnalyticsAgent. 
   The uninstallation process starts. The uninstallation process removes the BMC AMI Ops Analytics Agent but does not remove files and folders created after the installation.
   The following message is displayed before the component is uninstalled:

   About to uninstall...
   
   OpsAnalyticsAgent
   
   This will remove Ops Analytics Agent.  It will not remove files and folders 
   created after the installation.
   
   You may cancel this uninstallation by typing 'quit'.

   To cancel  uninstallation, enter quit.

3. Press Enter to continue with uninstalling. 
   After the component is uninstalled, the following message is displayed:

   Uninstall Complete
   ------------------
   
   All items were successfully uninstalled.

1. To uninstall BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore, navigate to /media/azd_shared_volume/OpsAnalyticsDatastore.

2. Run ./OpsAnalyticsDataStore_uninstall.
   The uninstallation process starts. The following message is displayed before the component is uninstalled:

   Uninstall Ops Analytics Datastore
   
   About to uninstall
   
   You may cancel this uninstallation by typing 'quit'
   
   Press <ENTER> to continue
   
   ===============================================================================
   Uninstallation completed

   To cancel the uninstallation, enter quit.
   After uninstallation, the installation directory includes the installation log file /media/azd_shared_volume/OpsAnalyticsDatastoreInstaller_log/.
