Starting and stopping analytics components
To start BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore
- Login to the host on which the BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore server is installed.
- Navigate to the installDirectory/bin directory.
Run ./startDataStore.sh.
This command starts all instances of BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore that are in Stop status.

To stop BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore
- Login to the host on which the BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore server is installed.
- Navigate to the installDirectory/bin directory.
Run ./stopDataStore.sh.
You get the following prompt:
Running Analytics DataStore instances:
amiads03
amiads02
amiads01
Enter Analytics DataStore instance name or '[A]ll' to stop all instances:- Perform one of the following actions to stop the BMC AMI Ops Analytics Datastore instances:
- Enter a specific instance name to stop it. For example, amiads03.
- Enter A to stop all the instances.
To start BMC AMI Ops Analytics Agent
- Login to the host on which the BMC AMI Ops Analytics Agent server is installed.
- Run systemctl start BMC-AMI-OpsAnalyticsAgent.service.

To stop BMC AMI Ops Analytics Agent
- Login to the host on which the BMC AMI Ops Analytics Agent server is installed.
- Run systemctl start BMC-AMI-OpsAnalyticsAgent.service.
To stop BMC AMI Ops Analytics Agent, run systemctl stop BMC-AMI-OpsAnalyticsAgent.service.
To check the status of the agent, you can also run systemctl status BMC-AMI-OpsAnalyticsAgent.service command.
