|
| Please do the following before starting the PAS:
|
|
| 1) We have created sample JCL in:
|
| HLQ.UBBSAMP
|
| with members:
|
| BBDDSALC <--- to allocate and format datasets
| BBDCPROC <--- to copy PAS proc to PROCLIB concatenation
|
| to allocate datasets and copy the PAS procedure and any
| other necessary members to the PROCLIB concatenation for the
| z/OS system. These JOBs will need to be submitted, and
| completed without error prior to starting the PAS.
|
| 1. Verify that all STEPLIB datasets are APF authorized
| before starting the PAS.
| 2. You must add a MOUNT statement to the BPXPRMxx member
| in SYS1.PARMLIB. The MOUNT statement will mount the
| USSHOME file system on subsequent IPLs:
| MOUNT FILESYSTEM(HLQ.INSTALL.UFOZFSRT')
| MOUNTPOINT('/u/BMCAMIOPS/INSTALL/bfh640')
| TYPE(ZFS) MODE(RDWR)
| 3. After the PAS starts up you should see these messages:
| BBDDI029I MVS PAS(xxxx) Initialization complete
| BBMBBZ01I Metrics initialization completed for MVCSMON
| BBMBBZ01I Metrics initialization completed for CMF
| BBMBBZ01I Metrics initialization completed for MVUSS
| BBMBBZ01I Metrics initialization completed for MVMVS
|
| End to exit
+------------------------------------------------------------------------ Use BBDDSALC from HLQ.UBBSAMP to allocate and format data sets required by the PAS.BBDCPROC that contains the JCL to copy PAS proc to PROCLIB concatenation.
- Verify that PAS starts up without any errors.
