Customizing after installation

BMC recommends that you use the Installation System to customize BMC AMI Ops Monitor for UNIX System Services. For more information, see Installing.

If you decide not to use the Installation System, perform the following steps to customize BMC AMI Ops Monitor for USS manually:

  1. Complete the customization tasks that apply to BMC AMI Ops Monitor for USS. See Customizing after installation.
  2. Define a user ID for the product address space (PAS). See Defining-a-user-ID-for-the-PAS.
  3. Copy members BBUTSPxx, BBUTSAxx, USSJPRCS, BBUTSHxx, and UFOHFSJ. See Copying-members.
