Provides an overview of all of the IBM MQ channels, showing their current status, messages, and other significant attributes

CHANZ

Channel Summary

Provides a list of all of the channels, showing their current status and their significant attributes

This summary is listed by channel name.

CHATL

Type CHATL on the COMMAND line.

Long Channel Name

Enables you to display and change the channel connection name when it exceeds the length of CHLCONN or CHLCONN2

The length of a CHATL connection name is up to 48 characters in z/OS and up to 256 characters in distributed systems computers.

Channel Attributes

Provides details about the definitions and current information for the attributes of a single message queue channel

The length of a channel attribute can be up to 20 characters and must be defined on the sending and receiving queue managers.
