Adding queue manager profiles
To add queue manager profiles
Perform one of the following actions:
- To add a new profile that uses the system default values, type ADD on the COMMAND line on the QMPROF view.
- To add a new profile that uses the parameters from an existing profile (including a sample profile), right-click on the existing profile, select Line action and then Add a queue manager profile definition.
For both methods, the ADD QMGR TARGET PROFILEdialog box is displayed.
ADD QMGR TARGET PROFILE
Specify the settings shown in ADD QMGR TARGET PROFILE wizard and click OK. For more information about Target and QMgr Type, see Select Queue Manager Type panel fields.
The ADD/CHANGE QMGR TARGET DEFINITION (MVS) dialog box shows the panel for an MVS queue manager, the ADD/CHANGE QMGR TARGET DEFINITION (PROXY) dialog box shows the panel for a PROXY queue manager, and the ADD/CHANGE QMGR TARGET DEFINITION (AGENT) dialog box shows the panel for an AGENT queue manager. The Agent Queue manager identifies the new MainView Middleware Administrator (MVMA) fields.

- Enter the appropriate values in each field (see the field descriptions in Select Queue Manager Type panel fields). When you are finished, click OK to save the profile or click Cancel to discard the profile.
