Overview of the z/OS Connect EE easy menu (EZZCONN)


You can hyperlink from the z/OS Connect EE (EZZCONN) menu to access data pertaining to the active JVMs on your system or current usage data for a selected z/OS Connect EE target.

Like EZJE, EZZCONN is a dynamic menu, which displays options based on your setup and context. To access the menu, you must have one or more z/OS Connect EE JVMs running in your environment. Depending on your context, EZZCONN displays hyperlinks to Health Center and JMX views (in addition to z/OS Connect EE views). You can access EZZCONN from the EZJE menu. The following figure is an example of the EZZCONN menu:

You can use the z/OS Connect EE views to monitor response times and other metrics for z/OS Connect EE API requests. You can also use these views to identify the cause of slow response times within z/OS Connect EE.

You can use the z/OS Connect EE views to perform the following actions:

  • Identify z/OS Connect EE servers
  • Identify z/OS Connect EE APIs and services
  • Display data about response times by API, service, and URI
  • Display real-time data about API, service, and admin requests

The following table briefly describes the three additional views of the EZZCONN menu.
