Overview of the z/OS Connect EE easy menu (EZZCONN)

You can use the EZZCONN menu hyperlinks to access data pertaining to the active JVMs on your system, or current usage data for a selected z/OS Connect EE target.

Like EZJE, EZZCONN is a dynamic menu that displays options based on your setup and context. To access the menu, you must have one or more z/OS Connect EE JVMs running in your environment. Depending on your context, in addition to z/OS Connect views EZZCONN displays hyperlinks to Heath Center and JMX views. For more information about Health Center and JMX data views, see Overview-of-the-EZJE-menu.

You can access EZZCONN from the EZJE menu. The following figure shows an example of the EZZCONN menu.

The z/OS Connect EE views enable you to monitor response times and other metrics for z/OS Connect EE API requests. You can also use these views to identify the cause of slow response times within z/OS Connect EE.

The z/OS Connect EE views provide the following benefits:

  • Identify z/OS Connect EE servers
  • Identify z/OS Connect EE APIs and services
  • Display data about response times by API, service, and URI

The following table briefly describes each section in the menu. For more information about the views associated with a particular section, click the section's name in column 1:
