Setting the context for a view using the CONtext command
You can also display multiple panels of different sizes simultaneously, and you can direct actions from one panel to another panel, all on one terminal.
You can use the CONtext command to display data for a target, an SSI context, or a dynamic context. With the CONtext command, you can switch from one target to another within a BMC AMI Ops product, or switch to another BMC AMI Ops product. In BMC AMI Ops Monitor for IP, the targets are defined as TCP/IP stacks. BMC AMI Ops Monitor for IP detects all TCP/IP stacks and defines a single target for each. BMC AMI Ops Monitor for IP displays statistics for only the current target that is set by the CONtext command:
CON {SSIname | target} product;view

To display statistics for a specific stack on the current system, issue this command:
CON xxxx1
To switch from one stack to the another stack, issue this command:
CON xxxx2
To display statistics for a specific TCPIP stack (TCPIP3) on another LPAR (SYSM), issue the following command:
CON TCPIP3 MVIP * SYSM
To display statistics for all TCPIP stacks on the system, issue this command:
CON ALL
When you first access the BMC AMI Ops Monitor for IP product, Context Confirmation panel is displayed.

Context
BMC AMI Ops Monitor for IP lets you display only data for a specific TCPIP
stack. Specify the TCPIP stack as the single context.
Screen
At startup, the screen listed above will be presented. If set to blank,
the default EZIP view will display.
Confirm
Designates whether to display this panel every time MVIP is started.
Note: If NO, changes can only be made using parameters editor (MVPARMS)

On this panel, you specify which context should be used by default. You can also specify the initial panel. The default initial panel is the EZIP menu. To bypass this panel, you can specify NO for Confirm, and the product automatically displays the initial panel with the specified context.
