Configuring IBM Sterling Connect:Direct data collection
Before you begin
- Make sure that the TACCDSTX module is located in an APF-authorized library in either the LINKLIST or the STEPLIB for Connect:Direct started task.
- In the Connect:Direct initialization parameters, set the STATISTICS.EXIT parameter to TACCDSTX. If the statistics exit is already in use, enter it in the User Exit field on the MVIPCDD view. This exit is called after the TACCDSTX exit runs.
- Recycle the restarted Connect:Direct.
If you are using the User Specified Program Limitation table (DGAXTABL), you must modify the source for the DGAXTABL module to allow TACCDSTX to run as a valid statistics exit.
For more information about DGAXTABL, see IBM online documentation about User Specified Program Limitation Feature. For examples of updating DGAXTABL, see How to avoid getting SITA490I/SITA491E messages.
To enable PAS communication with Connect:Direct API
- On the MVIPCDD view, enter a user ID and password for the PAS to access the Connect:Direct API via the SIGNON command.
- Add the Connect:Direct link libraries (SDGALINK) located in the PAS STEPLIB DD to access the CDAPI.
- Make sure that the Collect CDAPI Data field is set to ON to enable the PAS to collect Connect:Direct data from the CDAPI interface. This field controls whether Connect:Direct data is collected from the CDAPI. The default value is OFF.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
