Monitor diagnostic information
The IDIAG001 view displays how the product performs in your environment. Sampler Table Area (STA) are tables that are created and used by BMC AMI Ops for IMS to collect data for its views.
On the IDIAG001 view, the DataSpace STA Megs and Pvt STA Kilobytes fields display how much storage STA tables use. These two fields are expected to maintain stable values. However, if an error occurs, the fields may have higher values than their usual range, and hence indicate an abnormality.
The SampCTL Task Abends field on the IDIAG001 view indicates the number of abends in some important tasks that control BMC AMI Ops for IMS samplers. This field is expected to contain a small number of abends. However, in an unusual situation, it may contain a higher number of abends.
