JSON reports

The TAR JSON report is created by the PRSJSON program.

The JSON format report is an optional feature that can be enabled or disabled based on the user's preferences, while the CSV format serves as the default, consistently generated as part of the TAR report generation. 

The report contains information about TAR fields and is compiled in a PS file that is written in the JSON format.  You can customize the report by selecting the fields to include in the analysis.  You can also have the report automatically emailed to a recipient by providing the email address in the JCL.

You can create the JCL for PRSJSON:

  • Manually by using the provided information
  • Online by using the JCL Generator (see JCL Generator)
