Step 3 (DPRSMFA)—Job submission for parallel processing
This step submits the following jobs:
DPRSMFST – Statistics
DPRSMFAC – Accounting
DPRSMFAU – Audit
DPRSMFSG – Storage
These jobs reside in member DPRSMFB. The jobs use the DPPSMFA proc with a unique set of input and output files for each data type.
By default, the jobs run in parallel. If you want to run the jobs sequentially, update the DPRSMFB JCL to specify the same job name (DPRSMFxx) for jobs that you want to run sequentially. You can also limit parallelism to two by specifying the same name for two jobs, and a different name for the other two jobs.
