Exception monitoring

Key values can be set up for continuous background monitoring and exception reporting based on user-defined thresholds. The history of the monitored values, such as buffer pool utilization or number of transactions processed per workload, is available online in historical plots. Special exceptions can be defined to detect applications that are using excessive resources (runaway queries), with different user-defined exception criteria for TSO, IBM IMS , CICS, DBATs, or batch jobs.
