Using the application trace facility

With this facility you can:

  • Start a trace through online dialogs on which options can be specified and defaults are displayed
  • Start a trace from a BMC AMI Ops Automation EXEC
  • Start a series of trace requests automatically when the system starts
  • Log a trace to one or more VSAM data sets for later online recall or batch printing
  • Print a trace display
