Alternative methods of accessing windows mode

Use the following procedure to access windows mode.

Choose one of the following methods:

  • Option D, Db2
    1. On the BMC AMI Ops Selection Menu, select Option D, Db2.
    2. On the Db2 Solutions menu, select Option 1, MVDB2.

    3. On the Parameter confirmation panel, select windows mode.

      (Mode ===> WINDOW)

      The EZDSSI menu is displayed containing options to monitor all Db2s.

  • Option P, PLEX Management

    1. On the BMC AMI Ops Selection Menu, select Option P, PLEX Management.

      The EZPLEX menu is displayed showing a list of options, including access to lists of available targets.

    2. In a view showing targets, like PLEXOVER, select (in the Context or Product field) a Db2 subsystem target where the product is shown as MVDB2 to access a menu of options to monitor one Db2 at a time.
  • From the BMC AMI Ops Monitor for Db2 Primary Option Menu
    1. Select Option V, windows mode views.

You can also access BMC AMI Ops Monitor for Db2 windows mode views from the BMC System Performance for Db2 solution dialogs, if you have that solution installed. For more information, see Working-with-reports.
