The CSMON control statement causes the BMC AMI Ops Monitor for CMF Extractor to collect common storage (CSA and SQA) usage by jobs at the end of each recording interval. The storage obtained and subsequently released by a job within an interval is not recorded.

CSMON

The CSMON control statement requires that the MVS CSA and SQA tracking be Active by assuring that IBM parameter library member DIAGxx contains:

CSA (ON) SQA(ON)

See the description of DIAGxx in IBM publication MVS Initialization and Tuning Reference for details.

Monitoring modes

A CSMON statement can be specified for CPM mode only; this statement is not valid for IPM mode.
