PERFORM

The PERFORM control statement is used with the PERFSUM control statement to modify report contents.

PERFORM
[SCTYPE={CTL|RPT|BOTH}]

If used, the PERFORM statement must immediately follow the PERFSUM statement that it is modifying. Only one PERFORM statement can be defined after each PERFSUM statement; if multiple PERFORM statements are defined after a PERFSUM statement, only the last PERFORM statement affects the report.

SCTYPE=

requests that service classes or report classes or both be included in the report

Acceptable values are as follows:

  • CTL—requests that only service classes be included in the report

    This value is the default.

  • RPT —requests that only report classes be included in the report
  • BOTH—requests that both service and report classes be included in the report

The following examples illustrate the use of the PERFORM control statement.

When this example (without the SCTYPE parameter) follows a PERFSUM statement, only service classes are included in the PERFSUM report.
