Navigating the CMF Analyzer JCL Builder Main Menu


If you have already run the setup procedure, the CMF Analyzer JCL Builder—Main Menu (displayed below) is displayed when you enter the application.

This menu offers you the following options:

  • 1 List/Submit JCL Sets—displays a scrollable list of the user JCLLIB members, and provides line and primary commands that enable you to perform the following actions:
    • manage members
    • edit members
    • submit members for execution
  • 2 Create New JCL Set—simplifies creating new JCLLIB member by displaying fields for description text, and for JCL and control statement model names.
  • 3 List Statement Sets—displays a scrollable list of members of the user CTLLIB, and provides line and primary commands that enable you to manage and edit members.
  • 4 Create New Statement Set—simplifies creating a new CTLLIB member by displaying fields for description text, and for a control statement model name.
  • 5 List Control Statements—provides a scrollable list of Analyzer control statements. You can view, search, filter, sort, or select statements from the control statement list.
  • S Setup—helps you set default parameters and define libraries for your sessions with JCL Builder.
  • X Exit—closes JCL Builder.
