CHISTDFn views

To display CICS file information for any of the first five resources that the task accessed, hyperlink from the Expand data for field (with a type of CICS FCT) on CHISTDIO.

The CHISTDFn view is displayed (where n is 1-5), depending on which of the five entries you hyperlink from. If you hyperlink from the first entry, the CHISTDF1 view is displayed. All CHISTDFn views look the same.

Usage notes

  • Use the transaction navigation hyperlinks (NR, PR) located next to the Target and Task Number fields to move through records without having to go back to CHISTDIO.
  • Use the QM hyperlink to display the quick menu for the current view set.
  • Use the resource navigation arrows (>, <) located next to the File Name field to move through resource records for the selected transaction.
  • To display information about resources that are not displayed in CHISTDIO, hyperlink on the Files Used by Txn field to display the CHFILE view. The CHFILE view displays information about each resource–CICS, DB2, DBCTL, MQSeries–used by the task.
