System symbols


You can use system symbols in the data set names of the history files.

In addition to the system symbols supplied by IBM z/OS and those you have implemented at your site, 

BMC AMI Ops Monitor for CICS

 supports the following symbols:

&CMRREL

Is the 4-character release ID of BMC AMI OpsM for CICS in the form vrmm

For example, for the 7.1.00 version of the BMC AMI OpsM for CICS product, the release ID would be 7100.

&CMRPAS

Is the 4-character subsystem identifier of the BMC AMI OpsM for CICS BBI-SS PAS

&CMRSMF

Is the 4-character SMF ID for the z/OS LPAR

&CMRTARG

Is the 8-character BMC AMI OpsM for CICS target name for the CICS region (normally the jobname)

&CMRJOBN

Is the 8-character JOBNAME of the target CICS region

&CMRAPPL

Is the 8-character APPLID of the target CICS region

These symbols are resolved at runtime.
