Collecting and archiving report data
PERFORMANCE REPORTER batch reports are created from data gathered by the
BMC AMI Ops Monitor for CICS
data collectors.
Depending upon the sampling parameters specified when you customized BMC AMI OpsM for CICS, IBM CICS data is collected over periodic intervals from monitored targets and then written as records to VSAM databases.
This section provides descriptions of the various data records that are used to create batch reports and outlines the steps you must complete to prepare this data. Managing-report-data gives a more complete description of some of the procedures introduced in this section.
