Actions

The CLIBR view supports the following line command actions:

Line command

Description

DIS

Disables a library

ENA

Enables a library

CRT

Sets the library CRITICALST option to CRITICAL

NCR

Sets the library CRITICALST option to NONCRITICAL

SET

Changes the value in a modifiable field to the new value that you type in that field

In CLIBR views, the following fields are modifiable:

  • Resource Status
  • Critical Status
  • Rank Order

Note

Be sure the field contains exactly the value that you want before pressing Enter to issue the SET command. You must clear the field of any other data to prevent it from being passed as part of the new value.

Note

CICS does not allow the attributes of the DFHRPL library to be modified. If you issue a line command for the DFHRPL library, an error message is displayed and the command does not execute.

Related views

The following views provide additional library information.

Description

CLIBRZ

To display summarized information about the libraries defined to CICS, enter the SUM command on the CLIBR view.

The data is summarized by library name. The Count field shows how many libraries are represented by each line of summary data. You can hyperlink from the Count field to the CLIBR view to expand a line of summary data.

CLIBRD

To display detailed information about the attributes and statistics for a specific CICS library, hyperlink from the Resource Status field of the CLIBR view.

The CLIBRD detail view supports the same line command actions as the CLIBR view.

CLIBRQ

To display a menu of detailed information about a specific CICS library and related resources, hyperlink from the Library Resource field of the CLIBR view.

CLIBRR

To display resource signature information for a specific library, hyperlink from

  • Resource Signature field of the CLIBRQ view
  • Install Date or Install Time field of the CLIBRD view
