SDR start up

The SDR function is started when the extractor starts in a target and CMRDETL=SEL is specified in the loaded CMRSOPT. When you specify CMRDETL=SEL, the function is disabled for a target if one of the following conditions is true:

  • SDR cannot find a CMRSDRnn member in the BBIPARM concatenations
  • SDR cannot find a target group with at least one transaction group defined in CMRSDRnn

Note

Once SDR finds a CMRSDRnn member, SDR uses that member.  This is why it is important to specify CMRDETL=SEL in the CMRSOPT member after you have created a valid CMRSDRnn member.

You can see the status of the function in the CREGAGT view, under the column CMRDETL Write. For more information, refer to the online Help for the CMRDETL Write field.
