To verify a definition
- Provide verification information:
- Enter the type of target in the Target Type field using the CMRDETL file (CICS or CTG)
Enter the name of the CICS or CTG target in the Target Name field.
The eight-character name determines which definition to use, or if a selected definition is valid. During verification processing, it is used in place of &CMRTARG variables (see System-symbols).
Enter the job name in the Job Name field.
The verification process uses the eight-character name in place of any &CMRJOBN variables (see System-symbols).
Enter the application ID in the APPLID field.
The verification process uses the eight-character name in place of any &CMRAPPL variables (see System-symbols).
- Enter the type of target in the Target Type field using the CMRDETL file (CICS or CTG)
Use the End command to verify the definition by using the supplied information.If the definition can be verified, the Detail File Definition dialog is displayed. Otherwise, an error message is displayed.
