Creating a transaction group definition with CMRSDR


Use the following procedure to create a transaction group in EDIT mode.

  1. Type ADC (add child) in the CMD field next to the target group that you created in Creating-a-target-group-definition-with-CMRSDR and press Enter.

    The Selective CMRDETL Recording Trans. Group Add/Change dialog is displayed.

     CANCEL to exit without saving changes
     HELP to view related help
     RESET to reset to initial data         
  2. Fill in the transaction names that you want to exclude from recording.  At least one transaction name is required.

    Transaction names must be separated by commas and can contain wildcards. See the online Help for more information about using wildcards.

  3. Fill in the exception resource criteria that a task must exceed to make the selective CMRDETL recording function to record the transaction.  

    See the online Help for more information about these criteria.


  4. Press PF3 to temporarily save your changes and return to the CMRSDR or CMRSDRT view.

  5. After you are done with all the changes, enter SAVE, re-enter CMRSDR, or exit from CMRSDR to permanently save the changes to CMRSDRnn.

    Tip

    To build a transaction group from a previously saved transaction group definition, type ADD in the CMD field next to the definition that you want to use as a model in the CMRSDRT view and press Enter.

    The Selective CMRDETL Recording Trans. Group Add/Change dialog is displayed, populated with the values from the model.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
