Distributed alarms

This section describes the alarms that are distributed with BMC AMI Ops Monitor for CICS and includes the following section:

BMC AMI OpsM for CICS distributes a set of alarms that use pre-defined threshold values. After you have implemented the alarms, you can easily modify the alarms to operate on user-defined threshold values. For more information about alarms, see the section about using distributed alarms in Using Alarm Management.

Distributed alarms view (ALRMDIST)

The ALRMDIST view displays the list of distributed alarms for BMC AMI OpsM for CICS. You can select an alarm from the ALRMDIST view and add it to the active alarms library.
