 application trace facility and includes the following topics:

With this facility you can

  • Start a trace through online dialogs on which options can be specified and defaults are displayed
  • Start a trace from a BMC AMI Ops Automation EXEC (see Start-detail-traces-with-automation)
  • Start a series of trace requests automatically when the system starts
  • Start an in-flight trace from task-related views (see Start-detail-trace-for-active-transactions)
  • Log a trace to one or more VSAM data sets for later online recall or batch printing
  • Print a trace display
