CSD definitions

The following CSD definitions are required by 

BMC AMI Ops Monitor for CICS

.

Programs

  • OLTFSET definition for PLT and FST2.
  • CMRVCMR verifies BMC AMI OpsM for CICS presence.

Transactions

  • FST2 (BMC AMI OpsM for CICS initialization and control)
  • BMCE (transaction started by EXCI through link request from the BBI-SS PAS)

Connection and session definitions

User-defined EXCI connection and session definitions are required. See Step-3-Create-EXCI-connection-and-session-definitions for information.

Note

The EXCI facility enables a BBI-SS PAS to initiate the link to a IBM CICS system that was connected to the PAS before the PAS was restarted.

The EXCI facility is also required for most of the line commands in the CREGAGT view (see CREGAGT-view-commands) and the task kill exit (see Implementing-the-task-kill-function).
