General configuration

This topic includes general configuration for BMC AMI Ops Insight components.

To change host and port server settings

To change BMC AMI Manager host and port server, set the following properties in the <Install_Path>/aoidata/aoiinst/conf/amipdt.properties file:

  • AMI_MGR_HOST
  • AMI_MGR_PORT

To change the similar properties for BMC AMI Ops UI Discovery and BMC AMI Ops UI server, you can set the properties in the AMICMNEV member of the &HLQ.UBBSAMP data set. The values are the same as those you entered during installation.

To configure SSL/TLS or AT-TLS connections

To configure SSL/TLS or AT-TLS connections between BMC AMI Manager, BMC AMI Ops UI Discovery, and BMC AMI Ops UI server, see:

BMC AMI Ops Insight does not support monitoring of standalone Db2s and LPARs that have the same SSID, and are streaming at the same time. 

You might see the scoring being done by the product, but data may not be accurate.
