Handling Exceptions

BMC AMI Ops Insight actively monitors the system parameters. If it detects an anomaly in a monitored Exception KPI, it flags it for inclusion in active events and monitoring statistics. Exceptions are deviations from normal on specific KPIs that require immediate attention. For Exceptions, the actual KPI name is listed; they are not included in KPI Groups. Exceptions do not show as trends that indicate if they are getting better or worse.
