Setting WLM service classes
To set the jobname for the Tomcat data training process
To set a process jobname, the Tomcat started task user ID must have READ permission to the BPX.JOBNAME FACILITY class.
- (BMC.AMIOPS.SPE2304)Edit the Tomcat AMITCJCL in your system PROCLIB and add export MODELGEN_JOBNAME in environment variables.
- (BMC.AMIOPS.SPE2304)Edit the Tomcat AMITCJCL in your system PROCLIB and add export GENERIC_INGEST_JOBNAME in environment variables.
- Restart your Tomcat started task.
To set the jobnames for the BMC AMI Manager processes
To set a process jobname, the BMC AMI Manager started task user ID must have READ permission to the BPX.JOBNAME FACILITY class.
- Edit member AMIPROP in your BMC AMI Ops Insight runtime UBMCSAMP.
Add the following environment variables to the top of this member:
MLEAP_JOBNAME='<AMIMLEAP>’
PDTDB_JOBNAME='<AMIPDTDB>'
AMIMGR_JOBNAME='<AMIMGRUI>'Replace <AMIMLEAP> with the the name of your MLEAP process.
Replace <AMIPDTDB> with the the name of your PDTDB process.
Replace <AMIMGRUI> with the the name of your BMC AMI Manager process.- Apply CPU Critical and Storage Critical to all three processes. For more information on CPU Critical and Storage Critical, see your IBM documentation.
- Restart the AMICPYP job in your BMC AMI Ops Insight runtime UBMCSAMP to replace your amipdt.properties file in the z/FS file system.
- Restart your BMC AMI Manager started task.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
