Setting the global sensitivity level

You can set the global sensitivity level for BMC AMI Ops Insight. This changes the global sensitivity level of variance from normal, which triggers notifications for events. This means that if you set the sensitivity to a lower level, you get notifications only if there is a bigger difference between the current metric values and what is identified as normal on your system.

Important

If you change the sensitivity level, all open events are closed. New events are opened based on the behavior after the sensitivity level is set.

Tip

If you change the sensitivity level for playback runs. You can see how the same playback opens or does not open events based on the different sensitivity levels.
