Using BMC AMI Datastream for Ops
BMC AMI Datastream for Opscan collect records for the following BMC AMI Ops products:

To enable BMC AMI Datastream for Ops to collect historical data, you must locally configure and enable the Product Address Space (PAS) for eachBMC AMI Ops product. You must configure each PAS with a unique Datastream instance name to link toBMC AMI Datastream for Ops. You should configure only those PASs in the CASPLEX from which you want to send history data toBMC AMI Datastream for Ops.
A single PAS of a BMC AMI Ops product connects to a single BMC AMI Datastream for Ops address space at a time, but a single BMC AMI Datastream for Ops address space can receive historical data from multiple PASs residing on the same z/OS LPAR.

Interval durations for BMC AMI Ops Monitor for z/OS
The BMC AMI Ops Monitor for z/OS product supports the following durations of intervals for writing history records:
- Normal—(Default) Normal intervals are set to write the history records every 15 minutes.
- Long-term—Long-term intervals are set to four times the normal interval or one hour.
Short-term—Short-term intervals can be set to 15, 20, or 60 seconds.
All other BMC AMI Ops products that record history using the interval recorder have normal intervals.
