Windows mode


The BMC AMI Ops windows environment is an extension of the standard TSO/ISPF interface. When operating in windows mode, you can display one or more windows on your screen. A window information line defines the top border of each window.

The following figure shows an example of a windows-mode display:

Using windows mode, you can:

  • See system performance data displayed in as many as 20 windows
  • Display multiple systems as a single system image (SSI)
  • Summarize data for many resources into a single row
  • Display historical data that was collected over time
  • Navigate through data using hyperlinks and menus
  • Customize the display of data and online Help
  • Export data to a data set or print it to SYSOUT
