Description

Alarm Parameters (ALPARML)

An alarm parameter file also determines whether the product should perform the following actions:

  • Start the Alarm Management in the CAS.
  • List the names of the active alarm definitions during the Alarm Management initialization.
  • (BMC.AMIOPS.SPE2301) Enable the extended Where and QWhere filters in the alarm definition dialog.                
  • (Not for SPE2301) Write the names of the alarm definitions being activated to the console during Alarm Management initialization.
  • The names of the groups to be automatically processed when Alarm Management is started in the CAS. System symbols can be used in the specification of group names.
