METRICS view

You can access the METRICS view by hyperlinking on All Available Metrics from the EZMETRICS menu or from any of the other metrics-related views.

METRICS view lists all metrics of the specified product in every view.

Important

You can also hyperlink to the METRICS view when examining particular metrics in the METRICZ view. In the METRICZ view, if the view count for any element is greater than 1, hyperlinking on the view count value displays the METRICS view, which lists all of the views that contain the metric.

The following figure shows a sample view:

You can perform the following actions in this view:

Put the cursor on the element name and press Enter to hyperlink to the METRICD view and examine the defining details about this metric. (See METRICD-view.)
Put the cursor on the view name to open the view and see how the metric is displayed within it.

Tip
You can open the view by using a new window to retain the
Data Dictionary
data in a separate window.

You can also use filter masks or the locate and sort commands to organize the metrics in this view. For example, by setting a filter mask on the view name column, you can return a list of metrics that are displayed in a specific view.

The following hyperlinks are provided on the view:

Sum by Element + Table	Hyperlinks to the METRICZ view.
Sum by View Name	Hyperlinks to the METRICZV view.
Dynamic Thresholds Defined	Hyperlinks to the METRICZ view with a filter that shows only elements with a defined Dynamic Threshold.
Sum by Field Help Title	Hyperlinks to the METRICZT view.
Element Name	Hyperlinks to the METRICD view, which displays the details for a particular metric.
View Name	Opens the view that contains the metric.
Dynamic Threshold	Hyperlinks to the Thresholds Set Definitions view (THRSETS), with the view filtered to display the definition for the metric. Warning Important Hyperlink availability depends on whether the metric has a defined dynamic threshold as indicated by YES in the column. If the value is NO, no hyperlink available for the metric.
Field Help Title	Opens the online Help dialog for the metric.
