Default authorization for remote users ($RMTID)

$RMTID specifies the default authorization for remote users.

When a terminal session request is issued for a remote target, the local BBI-SS PAS and the remote BBI-SS PAS search BBPARM for:

  • A user authorization member that matches the terminal session user ID
  • A generic name match, if a $GENERIC member was specified

If no match is found, or a $GENERIC member was not specified, the $RMTID member is used. You can modify $RMTID according to your requirements.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
