Canceling CAS definition edits
The changes you can cancel include:
- Adding a new CAS definition in the Add New CAS System Definition dialog
- Changing an existing CAS definition in the Change a CAS System Definition dialog
- All changes made to the CAS definition member since edit mode was activated
To cancel CAS definition changes
For both the CASDEF and CASDEFD views, the command is the same.
- In the Add New CAS System Definition and Change a CAS System Definition dialogs, enter CAN on the COMMAND line. You are returned to the view from which you accessed the dialog. The edit lock is still active and your current edit status, (00 EDIT ) or (00 EDIT MOD ), is unchanged.
- In the view itself, enter CAN on the COMMAND line. You are returned to browse mode. The CAS definition member is restored to its original state before the edit lock was obtained. The status field on the window information line changes from (00 EDIT ) or (00 EDIT MOD ) to (00 BROWSE ). This indicates that the edit lock is no longer active.
