Copying an SSI context definition member

To copy the contents of one SSI context definition member into another, use the COPY command.

You must be in edit mode with the member that you want to copy into before you can enter the COPY command; see Editing-an-SSI-context-definition.

The COPY command is entered on the COMMAND line on both the CONDEF and CONDEFD views in the following format:

COPY nn

In the CONDEF view, nn is the suffix of the member that you want to copy from. In the CONDEFD view, nn is the suffix of the member that you want to copy.

Suffix values for each SSI context member are shown on the CONDEFL view; see Managing-SSI-context-definition-members-CONDEFL-view.

After you enter the COPY command on the CONDEF view, the view is updated with the SSI context names that were contained in the member from which you copied.

After you enter the COPY command on the CONDEFD view, the view does not appear to be updated, but when you return to the CONDEF view, the SSI context names in the member you copied from are listed.
