Viewing target status in a dynamic SSI context (CONADYN view)

The CONADYN view displays the status of targets that are monitored by BMC AMI Ops products within a dynamic SSI context.

To access the CONADYN view

You can access the CONADYN view by using any of the following methods:

  • In Plex Manager, type CONADYN on the COMMAND line, and press Enter.
  • From the Plex Manager EZPLEX Easy menu, select Dynamic Contexts under SSI Context Activity.
  • Issue the following command from any BMC AMI Ops product that is running in Windows mode:
    CONLISTDYN productName

To access a view by using the dynamic SSI context on the CONADYN view

To access a view by using the dynamic SSI context listed on the CONADYN view, issue the CONtext command in the following format:

CON dynamicType:dynamicTarget productName;VIEW viewName

Example

You want to access the ARD view from the BMC AMI Ops Monitor for CMF (CMF) product, with the dynamic type CEC and the dynamic target FALCON. Issue the following command:

CON CEC:FALCON CMF;VIEW ARD
