Controlling diagnostic messages

This section explains how to use the DIAGMSG view to set monitoring options that regulate the type and extent of diagnostic messages produced by BMC AMI Ops when operating in windows mode.

The Plex Manager DIAGMSG view displays the current state of BMC AMI Ops diagnostic monitoring. Using the DIAGMSG view line commands, options can be set that regulate the type of messages produced by BMC AMI Ops components and an external security manager (ESM) such as IBM RACF or CA ACF2.
