Setting up the BMC AMI Ops batch environment


Use the following procedure to set up the 

BMC AMI Ops

 batch environment so that you can generate reports. After you configure the initial setup, you only need to make minor adjustments for the specific reports you want to generate.

  1. From the BMC AMI Ops Batch Reports panel, select 0 (Setup).
  2. Specify the job and report information as follows:

    Field Name

    Description

    Job Statement Information

    Job card that conforms to your installation standards

    Report Title

    Title that you want to print at the top of your reports

    BMC AMI Ops CLIST Library

    Name of the library containing the BMC AMI Ops CLIST

    BMC AMI Ops CLIST Name

    Name of the BMC AMI Ops CLIST

    BBLINK Library

    Name of the BBLINK library

    CAS SSID

    Four-character CAS subsystem ID

    Library to save JCL

    ISPF library name for the saved JCL

    Temporary Workfile Unit

    Unit name for the temporary data sets

  3. Press End to save your changes and return to the BMC AMI Ops Batch Environment Setup panel.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
