BMC AMI Ops user interface


BMC AMI Ops User Interface is a web-based user interface component that is hosted on z/OS. BMC AMI Ops User Interface provides access to BMC AMI Ops Monitor and BMC AMI Ops Insight through a single interface.

Using BMC AMI Ops User Interface, you can:

  • Access alarm information   
  • Visualize the View data in tables, detailed formats, and historical trend analysis charts
  • Create analytics dashboards to examine current and projected trends 
  • Access the BMC AMI Ops Insight product to identify anomalies within your environment

BMC AMI Ops User Interface is installed as part of the installation of BMC AMI Ops Insight or of BMC AMI Ops Monitor products.

You can access BMC AMI Ops Monitor data by connecting to a BMC AMI Ops service. A BMC AMI Ops service (also known as the BMC AMI Ops Host Server or Host Server) is a part of the BMC AMI Ops Infrastructure that is used to access BMC AMI Ops monitored environments.

  • Tabs—AlarmsViews, Dashboards, Agent Configuration, Product Health, and BMC AMI Assistant chatbot  
  • Default screen—Alarms Overview page
  • Footer—Clock and time of last refresh Footer is displayed if BMC AMI Ops host is version 7.0 or later
  • Clock—The clock displays the time zone of the server where the BMC AMI Ops host is installed
