Setting the TCP/IP static port definition (SETPORT view)

This enhancement implements a view-based TCP/IP static port management using SETPORT view. You use the SETPORT view to configure the TCP/IP static port or range of TCP/IP static ports for BMC AMI Ops products. The existing static TCP/IP port definitions in the BBMPORT member are imported automatically when you start the PAS.

To access the SETPORT view

To display the the SETPORT view, perform one of the following actions:

  • In Plex Manager, on the COMMAND line, type SETPORT and press Enter.
  • In Plex Manager, in the EZPLEX view, under Administration, click the .Static PORT definitions option.

  • From any BMC AMI Ops product that is running in windows mode, use the following CONtext command to access Plex Manager and display the SETPORT view:
